Rare to find this life size Early German Heinrich Handwerck doll, circ. Bisque socket head is free from hairlines, damage and repairs, incised on the back 109- 13 3/4 H 5.

The H stamp is the early indicator and these don't come around very often, especially this beautiful and in this size. Exquisite face with flawless ivory complexion, blush cheeks, brown brush stroke eyebrows, full shapely coral lips with lip-line detail, open mouth/ pearly white porcelain teeth, great big almond eye cuts the Handwerck dolls are so famous for, stunning chocolate brown glass sleep eyes when you look closely you can see the spiral in them, fully working sleep mechanism and lid coverage, painted eyelashes, pierced ears with no chips, pearl earrings and original ash blonde human hair wig. On her original composition body with age related wear, strung well stands 27 and holds a pose. Dressed in an early antique tea stained Victorian dress in very nice condition, bloomers, bonnet, original pink net stockings and black antique style shoes.

She has a wonderful "air of sophistication" about her and entrancing large doe eyes. She is the most beautiful EARLY one I have found! From an immaculately preserved private collection.
