She wears a delicate silk costume with a large front bow and fine lace trim. The wig, cap, and clothing appear to have been with her for a long time and may be original to her, although I cannot confirm that conclusively. Mignonettes were miniature dolls made for dollhouses and small-scale play. Her tiny size, bare feet, and beautifully painted face make this one especially appealing. The doll presents beautifully overall.
The dot near her eye is a firing mark from manufacture, not damage. There is a small irregularity at the largest toes of her left foot; I cannot tell whether it is a mold flaw or a small surface chip, so I have photographed it closely. The antique costume shows age-related fraying and fragile areas along the edges and lace. Please examine all photographs as part of the condition description.
