China Head Doll 1214 x 7

  

Pre-1900 German, 19 Porcelain China Head in very good condition except for some fine cracks on left arm and on right leg. Her cloth body is very clean with some tiny spots. She is marked on the back of her shoulder plate: 1214 xx 7.

She has sculpted, curly hair with a very white complexion. Her blush coloring is very good with blue eyes. She has the pink curves over her eyes with a dimple in her chin.

Her dress is a rose magenta taffeta with a square neck and puffy sleeves. Three rows of gold braid trim enhance the very full skirt. There is a mended place on the right side of the dress.

It doesn't show because it's in a fold. There are some tiny holes in the back which you can see in the picture. There are also a few small, dark smudges on the back. A stand is included because she does not sit. She wears white, eyelet pantaloons and a faux cameo around her neck.
