Vintage Emma Clear 17 Parian Doll SALLY China Head Earrings 1947 Gorgeous

  

She is 3 from the top of her head to her chin. She is marked C47lear on the back of her shoulder plate. This doll has blonde hair, painted blue eyes, pierced ears with blue bead earrings and matching beaded choker. The bisque legs have lovely painted boots and the bisque arms have spoon shaped hands.

The dress is a blue dotted net dress that is faded and does have deterioration. The snaps at the back look to be replacements and there is one missing. The underskirt, which is trimmed with handmade tatting, does show its age with staining and holes/tears.

She has 3 tiny spots on her forehead but her bisque is in very good condition otherwise. According to the previous owner this dolls name is SALLY and she was featured in The Doll Collector magazine Sept 1976 Page 12 (Pochmann Collection).
