Pretty antique china head doll with imbeded Jeweled necklace by Hertwig, Germany

  

1905, antique china, shoulderhead doll measuring, 9 tall , with nice shoulders and deeply molded, lowbrow brunette hairstyle including lots of soft curls all around and center-part. She has a molded gold necklace with an imbedded, bezel-set green glass stone with gold outline below another molded gold setting, pretty, cornflower blue painted eyes , with nice expression, eyebrows, nostril marks, sweet butterfly shaped mouth with lip dividing line and lovely blushed cheeks. She was made in Germany by Hertwig & Co. Described in detail in, "Identifying German China"-Krombholz , on page 126.

She wears a pretty, two-piece, green floral printed cotton outfit with lace trim, antique lace trimmed pantaloons and petticoat and. Has china lower arms and legs with molded and painted black boots with side buttons and tan soles and blue garters. She is in excellent condition having no damages, no cracks, no chips, no flakes or hairlines, no repairs, no stains and no odors as she is from a smoke free home.
