Pair Antique Chinese Dolls China Old Vintage Embroidery Embroidered Dress Tokens

  
A lovely pair of dolls, probably Chinese, which may be antique - certainly vintage. They are in a box with newspaper that dates from 1951, but they could well be older than that. Both dolls are exquisitely dressed, particularly the Boy, who has an embroidered figure on his chest, three metal tokens on his hat, an exotic tassle hanging from one side, and another token hanging on the other. The girl has a floral design embroidered on the front, and both have sweet little shoes. They are made of some sort of ceramic - whether porcelain, china, bisque or whatever I do not know but I suspect you may! They are each some 10 (26cms) long.

Condition: The faces of both these dolls are slightly damaged, especially the noses. Otherwise these are in a good condition, not least the lovely clothing. The box they will be sent in is an old one, but the corners of the lid are broken.
