Vintage Porcelain Reproduction doll Lucinda by Doll Artisan Gwen Bentley. She is 24 tall standing. Handcrafted from Porcelain using Doll Artist Mary VanOsdell Mold.
She is hand painted with several china firings. Uniquely dressed in her vintage costuming and shoes.
Lucinda has just finished sewing her doll using items from her sewing basket. Doll Artist Mary VanOsdell is well known for her original sculpted dolls featuring mainly Black Children of the 1940's. Her most popular doll was "Lucinda". The inspiration for Lucinda was f rom a vintage photo found in a book of depression era Children.
