HEAD: bisque is good with no cracks or repairs, however there is a chip on the crown inner edge (photo 13)... EYES: brown glass eyes are detached/loose, however both original plasters are still in place in the the head.... Eyelid paint/wax is mostly worn away.... Cork that the rocker weight rests upon is also detached, but included...
BODY: original five-piece paper mache' body has original stringing... WIG: blonde mohair wig is very sparse in the back, but original... CLOTHING: factory clothing has fading and toning from age and storage, however no major issues.... Wide-brimmed bonnet is heavily starched.... One paper shoe is falling apart, however may be restorable with some time and patience (no buckle)...BOX: box is not factory original, but a very old one that was lovingly stitched together from two smaller boxes.... I'm sure this doll has been stored in this box most of her life... I always carefully stuff these bisque heads to protect the fragile glass eyes.
