Antique Vintage As Found Boudoir Doll 17 High Painted Ceramic Composition. This doll reminds me of Rita Hayworth and could use some TLC, but she retains charm even in her present, shabbily chic, condition.

Head to shoulders, arms and legs are painted ceramic or composition. Painted-on gold high heel shoes with white ankle socks. Latina style clothing of hand woven fabric skirt (in need of repair) and a cotton, short sleeved blouse that is decorated with dots of, now tarnished, glitter.

Her bosom consists of two sawdust filled disks, which are loosely attached to her stuffed torso. The torso stuffing is very firm. Only the bosoms are losing their sawdust a bit. Her rebozo shawl consists of a piece of green ribbon with decoratively frayed edges.

Here waist line is adorned with a molded and painted ceramic bowl of fruit. Her scalp has been painted black and a "wig" of black silk thread attached.

Her gold hoop earrings are attached to her hair. She has dramatic eye makeup and pouty red lips.

Very minor chips to ceramic areas and some dark marks here and there. She wears a muslin underskirt and cotton wrap style underwear.
