Antique Mon Tresor French Character Doll

  
She is completely all original. She is signed on the back of her head Mon Tresor 25 for the mold number and 4 for her size, being about 20 in length. Nicely painted features, blue glass set eyes, open mouth exposing little teeth; her head is without cracks or repairs. Her bisque head is on a leather body with lower bisque arms on wire apertures stuffed with excelsior, so she was made kind of like what we find on an automation, but she was never put on a winding box and was never intended to be. Her outfit cannot be removed; it was sewn directly on her.

Sent to me directly from Europe where she was only on display all this time, everything has been hand cleaned while left on the doll and then allowed to dry. She has all her fingers, but her right bisque arm was repaired and a bit of bisque is off the inside of her palm. It is hard to notice unless you look for it. A very, very rare one of a kind French bisque dolls that will not be found again.
