With FANCY HAIRDO & SNOOD - ca: 1860's. This doll is from a smoke free home and has no odors. Yes this antique Parian doll is elegant and is exquisite. She is 22 inches tall. For reference see page # 70 in the book,'Identifying German Parian Dolls' by Mary Gorham Krombholz.

She wears: lace trimmed pantaloons; a lace trimmed underskirt; and a very fancy silk like green/gray dress with blue roses. She has an old cloth body - I did not undress her to show the body because I wanted to show several pictures of the fancy shoulder plate and head. And now on to the terrific shoulder plate and head and hairdo.

The height of this is 6 inches tall from the top of her head to the bottom of the molded blouse and 5 inches wide. Her bodice is molded with a blue ribbon in the front and gold accents around the neck. Her hairdo color is the beautiful'Cafe Au Lait'. Her hairdo style is typical from the 1860's and is molded just prefect.

She has a fancy porcelain hair band and a snood. Her fascial painting is like she was made yesterday - obvious she has been in a display case all these years.

Imagine this doll was made over 160 years ago. She is on of the most loved Parian's that I have ever owned. And now is the time for her to go from my home to yours. Delivered right to your front door.
