Adorable Antique German, Armand Marseille 1894 Doll on Chunky Jumeau Body

  

This 23 antique German doll was made in Germany by Armand Marseille doll factory, one of the largest suppliers of bisque doll heads. This doll looks slightly different from all of the dolls in this mold I have seen before. She has beautifully painted big blue glass eyes, nicely painted eyebrows, and little dimple on her chin, open mouth with four teeth on the top. She has two short hairlines coming out of the back of the rim of her head. The doll has replacement vintage cork pate and strawberry blond human hair wig with sausage curls.

I assume that her eyes were sleep eyes at some point of the doll's life. She is on big and chunky marked Jumeau body. Please see my pictures for the detailed condition of the body. It seems like someone tried to preserve it and waxed the rough parts to smooth them out. The doll wears vintage underwear and a. Dress with tucks on the skirt with smocking at the top. She also has a matching silk peachy pink bonnet.

Cotton socks and pink leather boots. The doll is very adorable and can be a very nice addition to any antique doll collection. Please review all photos as they are part of the description!
