21 Emma Clear Doll Isabel 1940, Stunning Costume

  

Fabulous 1940s Emma Clear in amazing condition. This doll is only signed Clear on the back of the shoulder plate.

She came with a tag that says "Isobel" which is a doll she named. Considering she is almost 100 years old, I consider her an antique.

She has no chips cracks or hairlines on both her head and limbs. Black shoes with gold trim are great! Head has this amazing netted caul. Body is firmly stuffed and comes with this great brocade corset! Her half slip and pantaloons are antique/vintage. What is really stunning is this 2 piece costume in velvet and peachy pink satin. It is finished with metallic lace and antique buttons. All clothes do up with snaps or hook and eyes. This one is really special for the collector who appreciates the artist Emma Clear was.
