Rare, complete 8-piece vintage set of "Dolls of All Nations" miniature bisque figurines, intact inside their original divided factory presentation box. Manufactured in Japan during the 1930s era, these delicate, slip-cast "penny dolls" are exceptionally hard to find as a complete set with their original packaging. Quantity: 8 figurines + original boxed container. Origin: Made in Japan (Inventory stamp 2636). This diverse cultural archetype set includes. 1 Spanish Dancer / Senorita (with mantilla comb and shawl). 2 Dutch Boy (with traditional cap and wide trousers). 3 Chinese Boy (with queue hairstyle and traditional tunic). 4 Mandolin Player / Troubadour (holding stringed instrument).

5 Cowboy (with green stetson hat, neckerchief, and holstered pistol). 6 Dutch Girl / Peasant Girl (with blonde hair and apron).

7 Native American Chief (with full feathered war bonnet). 8 Inuit / Native American Woman (with braided hair holding a flower). Remarkably bright original cold paint finish with minimal age-related wear or flaking.

Faces are crisp and hand-painted side-glance eyes are perfectly preserved. No chips, cracks, or porcelain repairs to any of the 8 figures.

The underside of the cardboard box base features a crisp purple ink inventory stamp reading: "2636 / MADE IN JAPAN". The lid features a beautifully aged Showa-era geometric checkerboard design accented with white cherry blossoms (sakura).

Condition Report: Excellent Vintage Condition. The Figurines: All 8 bisque figures are structurally perfect-no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. The original hand-painted "cold paint" is exceptionally bright for the 1930s. Expect minor, typical age-related paint rubs on a few high points (such as the cowboy's hat and the Indian chief's pants), along with light, authentic surface dust.

The Box: The original cardboard box and inner grid dividers are fully intact and structurally sound. The litho paper lid shows minor corner/edge wear and a tiny corner split typical of 90-year-old cardboard, but the colors are vibrant. Markings: The "2636 MADE IN JAPAN" purple ink stamp on the bottom of the box is crisp and 100% legible. Figures are 100% authentic and uncleaned to protect the delicate original paint.
