Flapper Half Doll with puppy inspired by La Vie Parisienne magazine illustrations. The half doll and standing legs are vintage German porcelain, doll is marked 4525 Germany (back of base), legs are marked 8..1 (top of back side, not sure what other 2 digits are). Cute as a button puppy is not vintage, just perfect companion of this flapper girl! Total height of doll is about 9. The ensemble had been designed exclusively for this vintage doll, no replicas.

All elements are handmade by traditional sewing techniques only, NO GLUE. As feet are attached to pedestal..

It was tempting to make the garter belt removable to show her lace bloomers but wouldnt make much sense without functioning stockings.. So please accept some conventionality there.. Dogs collar and leash also are removable, the tag might be shown as medal or charm. The ostrich stole is just fine fluffy manmade yarn.. The velvet purse also had been designed and handcrafted just for this doll.

It has exclusive embellishments and it opens, there are wallet, compact, perfume bottle and handkerchief inside. Compact is adorned by rhinestones, it opens and there are mirror and tiny puff inside as it supposed to be. Perfume bottle doesnt open but it has silk tassel to accept a drop of your favorite fragrance if desired. Not sure what currency it is but there are few bills inside.
