Vintage Bob Mackie Tango Barbie Porcelain Doll First in Series Celebration of Dance Collection (1998) Mattel serial #23451. This is a seriously pretty doll! This Barbie comes with original Bob Mackie doll presentation box, his one-of-a-kind'Tango' doll artwork, and a matching outer slip case. This Barbie is first in the series Celebration of Dance collection but she was also Bob Mackie's first porcelain Barbie doll he created. The doll has poseable arms and legs, but her head does not move, it is fixed in a sideways glance.

There are no issues to report for the doll or her costume, she is very fine, another Bob Mackie showpiece. Her COA and brochure was not in her box, but her COA No. 07244 is stamped on her back, see pics. Her original Bob Mackie stand was not in the box either, but I added a similar black stand, see last pic. Supposedly this Barbie is a limited edition, but I was unable to find information on how many dolls were issued. The box is not perfect but remarkably good condition for its age, no rips or tears, see pics and zoom in. A couple of my pics on the box were blurry, sorry.
