Vintage Wiltrud Unikat doll, German, 12 inches tall, limited production

  
Bisque head, enamel painted eyes in sculpted sockets, beautifully painted features, pouty expression, wispy hand-knotted mohair wig with braids, soft cloth body, bisque hands with curled fingers, bisque legs to above the knees, wearing a cotton print dress, woolen knit pants and socks, brown leather shoes with ties, with muslin and lace dress. The doll has a wrist tag "Wiltrud Uniket".

The pouty girl was made by German artist Wiltrud Stein. She began her career in 1983 and has won many awards for her artistic creations. Her dolls are sculpted, hand-painted, and costumed with care and detail.

Collectors will recognize the craftsmanship.
