Vintage German Porcelain Flapper Half Doll with Legs, Demi-Figurine, Teepuppe

This Flapper Doll ensemble had been inspired by beautiful illustrations of 1920s La Vie Parisienne magazine. The half doll and standing legs are vintage German porcelain, the doll is marked 4525 Germany (back of base), legs are marked 8..1 (top of back side, not sure what other 2 digits are). Cute as a button porcelain puppy is not a vintage figurine but a perfect companion of this flapper girl! Total height of girl is about 9.

The ensemble had been designed exclusively for this vintage doll, no replicas. All elements are handmade by traditional sewing techniques only, NO GLUE. Dolls garments are removable ; silk skirt with white trim and miniature golden metal/clear rhinestones buckle and black organza bow match dolls blouse colors; pink tulle underskirt is adorned by ruffle and finest 100% silk ribbon.

Black stockings are that 1920s mesh/back seam style stockings that Marilyn Monroe was wearing on her trip to Florida in great comedy SOME LIKE IT HOT: Stockings are not removable because dolls feet are attached to the pedestal.. It was tempting to make the black lace/silk garter belt removable to show dolls nude color lace bloomers but wouldnt make much sense without functioning stockings.. So please accept some conventionality there..

Dogs collar and leash also are removable, the tag might be reversed to serve as a dogs medal or as AB crystal charm. The black ostrich boa is made of silky manmade yarn. The velvet purse also had been designed and handcrafted exclusively for this doll to compliment her light green blouse and cloche hat. The purse has vintage miniature bronze hardware, silk tassel and tiny bead embellishments; it is lined by softest black tulle; the closure is made of golden bead and silk cord; the purse opens, there are wallet, compact, perfume bottle and handkerchief inside. Compact is adorned by green rhinestones, it opens and there are mirror, powder and tiny puff inside. Perfume bottle has silk tassel to accept a drop of your favorite fragrance if desired. Not sure what currency it is but there are few bills inside. This flapper and her puppy come in custom designed and signed box that has 1920s evening street view.
