VINTAGE Doll with Porcelain Head & Shoulders Made In Germany 1890'S Nice Cond

  

22 Stuffed tan cloth body with black stockings. Produced in Germany "Patent Applied For" on back.

Common names were Bertha, Helen, Ethyl, Marion and Dorothy. This one is marked "HELKN" and appears to be very unusual.

The name seems to be of Greek origin and I could find no others like it. Porcelain head is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks that I can see.

The body is in very good condition with no tears and a few minor stains.
