Vintage Beautiful Porcelain Doll. K R Reproduction

  

Handpainted German reproduction doll "Kara" in porcelain beautifully and delicately painted and dressed in exquisite custom attire. "Kara" has gorgeous curly hair and beautiful fixed blue glass eyes. The original German doll was made by Simon & Halbig in the early 1900's with this being an authentic antique reproduction by renowned doll artist Barbara Carroll in 1988 is inscribed on the back of the head as the year this reproduction piece was created.

The rendering is well done and professional. The doll and the clothing are in perfect condition - no chips, cracks or stains. Her stringing has become slightly loose but still stands/sits and displays beautifully. All hand painted, and costume is hand sewn by Barbara Carroll as well.
