The Doll The dolls face and torso as well as detached arms are porcelain. The face details are painted.

The head shows sign that there used to be hair but its all gone, leaving marks where it used to be glued. This is a half doll, waist below is a basket of wires fabric like shes wearing a victorian hoop skirt. The dress is simple fabric with buttons and lace.

Fabric is delicate and old and tattered. You can freely twists the doll by the waist.

The History The dolls name is Caroline. Only this is revealed by the previous owner. Obtained from an estate sale, in Lincolnshire England.

As I tour around the property, I noticed the doll is a detached barn house catching cobwebs by the corner of the window. I have asked about the detail of the doll, the building used to house "Caroline" said the grounds keeper. Caroline the great aunt of the current owners, she was born with some kind of genetic disorder, tho the estate is affluent, they hid her from society due to shame and was housed and tended almost like a prisoner. According to the staff Caroline or the spirit within the doll haunts the barn house, but the staff mentioned that the entity is neither malevolent in nature. The haunting would be child like like some kind of reduced capacity or autism. I consulted my psychic friend is unable to fully comprehend her, this must be to years of loneliness or abuse or maybe autism.
