Lovely, expressive, detailed artisan-made doll with blue eyes & lovely red hair done up in a braided bun. This doll is costumed interestingly. Her black dress and short white apron create the first impression that she might be a maid, governess, or servant of the. However, her face is so refined and the short apron is not typical of a servant, so it seems she might be a lady of the house, of modest means, who might be doing her own cooking or dusting.

She definitely leaves room for your imagination to place her where you want! She also wears white pantaloons and petticoat, both trimmed with lace.

She has a calm and kind expression. Her black high boots are painted on. Her lower arms and lower legs are porcelain, as is her head, neck, and bust. Her upper arms & legs & waist are wired; as a result, the doll can be posed, and can either sit or stand. She comes with a doll stand.

You can pose her arms and legs or bend her slightly at the waist. The ability to move her arms, combined with her lovely facial features and delicate hands, make this doll not only very expressive, but also lively & active occupant for your dollhouse. The doll's height includes her bun, and her height to the top of her head is proportionate for an average woman. Although I do not know what artisan made or dressed her, she is a very pretty woman and I believe has an interesting story to tell in your dollhouse of room box.
