Lovely antique German bisque head baby doll by Hertel Schwab.... Wonderful facial expression on this solid dome head.. Original sleep eyes retain original eyelid paint/wax.... Original paper mache' body retains 100% original paint and patina with red outlining between the fingers and toes.... Body has light overall soiling, more-so on the lower arms and hands which were not protected by clothing....

NOTE: There is what appears to be a flake along the socket edge, as shown in the last three photos, however this is a factory defect, not damage, as the flesh-colored paint runs over the edge....
