Scary Antique Porcelain Doll from Old Southside Virginia Estate

  
This antique doll came from an estate in southside Virginia. The last time she was played with was in the 1920s, judging by the age of the shoebox she was stored in. In that part of the state, there are a lot of old houses set back far off the state roads. Many of the roads are gravel, never paved. There aren't any power lines, no need for electricity since no one has lived in the homes for decades. There are only fields and pastures. Doll has porcelain arms and legs and is dressed a lace trimmed outfit. Her neck is attached by cords. It looks like there was a similar system for the arms, but the cords have deteriorated.

The fingers and toes are broken off. Skin has dirt and grime. Wear and stains to clothing.

When doll is fully reclined, the eyes close. The shoebox she was found in is included, along with a small pillow. Carefully packed to arrive safely. Please get this thing out of my house.
