RARE Antique 1923 Grace S. Putnam black Bisque Porcelain Baby Doll 14 Marked

  

RARE An antique African American Grace Putnam baby doll with bisque head, cloth "frog" body, and celluloid hands. The eyes are a golden color, they do not move. Wears antique, possibly original (but can't say for sure) eyelet and lace Christening gown.. Very good condition with no damage to head or hands.

There are 2 small spots but the rest of the eyelet dress is good with a little normal vintage ageing. There is a thin green satin ribbon bow on the cuffs and one on her head. It has a mark of 1923 by S. Putnam on back of neck. The dress from neck to hem is 17 check photos for more details.
