Pouty Type Antique 15 Closed Mouth Kestner mold 169 Doll with Original Mohair Wig

  

Antique Bisque Closed Mouth Kestner #169 doll from Germany- Her head has been examined with a flashlight and black-light and has no damage, hairlines, or repairs. She stands 15" tall and has a very "pouty look to her expression with full, heavy, lower cheeks and a pale coral/salmon colored mouth. Her body is generally in very good condition, but the ball joint on one leg at the thigh has detached.

It does not affect the poseablity of the doll. There is also a small, stable, split in the composition of one upper arm near the elbow, and a bit of missing, upper-layer, of composition material at one shoulder. The body is stamped on the rear hip "Germany" and has a beautiful finish. She is wearing a fabulous, antique, hand-sewn, cotton gown. It has two great little, ruched, pockets.

This doll still has her original pate which has been removed, as well as her gorgeous, original, mohair wig.
