A fine example of JD Kestner, circa 1880on, Mold 168. This boy doll is MINT. Bisque head is free of hairlines, damage or restorations and incised on the back Made in Germany 168. He comes with his original thick blonde mohair wig and pate, original composition body being in superb condition with original finish and correct stamp mark on booty. Gracefully aged patina the Kestner dolls are so famous for, smooth creamy complexion, finely painted lips, eyebrows, eyelashes and blush cheeks. Rare square porcelain teeth and a full set of original blonde eyelashes is a bonus! Vibrant blue sleep eyes with fully operational sleep eye mechanism and lid coverage.
