German Glazed Kister Porcelain China Head Doll Civil War Era 24 For Restoration

  

This is a 24 inch tall doll, circa the 1860s (civil war period), with a china head that was manufactured by the German firm of Kister. The face and hair are in very good condition with minor wear that can be seen in the photos. The stuffed fabric legs are in excellent shape along with one arm that includes a leather hand.

The left arm is missing and there is some damage the the china shoulder on the left side. The dress is quite weathered and shows staining from age and love.
