A note from the Artist about your Alice doll. Thank you for choosing to add my Alice to your collection.

She is a very special doll to me and I hope you will enjoy her for many years to come. Alice's Adventures In Wonderland has always been one of my favorite stories.

It is full of fun, adventure and mystery, and features some of the most wonderful characters in literature. I found an antique copy of the book at a flea market in Texas where I live. Although the book is not marked with publication date, it is obviously very, very old.

As you can see, Alice's costume was inspired by the book cover. You can pose her holding the book in many ways, and of course you should feel free to read it whenever you need a little escape! Cindy Koch, American Master Doll Artist.

Fine porcelain head/shoulders, half arms and 3/4 legs on a cloth body with wire armature. Blue with a hint of lilac, high quality pabol eyes with real lashes. Pale blonde, very long and silky, quality synthetic wig. Alice's costume was inspired by the book cover (the book is included) : deep crimson red tea length cotton dress with ivory lace collar and cuffs, ivory satin bows at the neck and waist and a black velvet ribbon above the hem. She has a crisp taffeta petticoat, ivory cotton long knickers and red stockings.

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland antique book reprint (prop bunch of flowers, bunny and doll stand not included). Excellent, in original box (has shelf wear).

Certificate of Authenticity, Hang Tag, Note from the Artist, Guarantee assurance, Instructions "How to Care for Your Elegant Collectible Doll" by Ivonne Heather, President of Collectible Concepts, and a photo of the doll. Also hand numbered on the back of neck where the Artist's personal signature mark is inscribed in 18kt gold.
