Antique Vintage Porcelain German Half Doll Pin Cushion Boudoir Doll with Legs

  
An elegant, dainty and colorful doll! Newly redressed, she is not a pin cushion, but is sitting on top of a hollow dome which can be used to hide something underneath, say, on a dresser or a vanity. The diameter of that "dome is 4", the height is about 2.5. The total height of the finished doll is 5", and the porcelain doll itself measures 2.5"H. No chips, cracks or crazing on the doll or the legs.

The doll has no markings, but the quality of workmanship identifies her as being made in Germany. Dressed in 100% silk and authentic vintage lace. The shoes have some gold paint missing, but this is typical on a pair of legs which are close to 100 years old, wouldn't you think?

I got the top and the legs separately, and even from different continents, but they look just right together - this is what should truly be called "finding your other half".
