Antique German Half Doll With Arms Aloft & Away In Antique Attire Schneider

  

This animated porcelain half doll appears to be dancing with her arms aloft. Her bodice has its original painted corset with tiny antique embroidery completing her blouse. There is a magnificent embroidered silk panel at the front of her skirt with an overskirt of antique dotted net with silk ruffles and an additional lace layer at the hem.

Her face and hands have been delicately sculpted and she has all of her fingers. She is incised with #14748 made by the Carl Schnieder German porcelain factory. She is mounted on an antique wire frame. She is 4" high and including her gown the piece stands at 12" tall.
