Antique German Armand Marseille 201013 Cryer Arabesque Doll Original Box

  

Rare Mama voice doll in original box!!!! Doll with voice mechanism box in her head. Mechanism doesn't seem to be working when installed in her head but is working outside when manually pushed. Might be missing some part of the metal lever.

Mechanism is based on pumping air. When metal piece down behind her head is pushed, she should be letting out a cry- "waaaa". Doll called "I say Mama" but it doesn't really say the word'Mama'. This type of dolls often called the "weeping doll". She has bisque head, shoulder plate and partial arms.

The rest of her body is leather kid body. Marked on the back of her shoulder plate (see photo). Dark brown eyes with real lashes. Sleepy eyes mechanism is working but her eyes need some adjustment. Wig most likely is antique (possibly original)and is not glued to her head.

Wig is in a poor shape. Open mouth with upper teeth. No visible cracks, chips or hairlines. Residual glue to the upper part of her head; not visible under the wig.

Her leather body seems to be an original and is in a good condition. Has an original Arabesque sticker to the front. Some leather is missing to one of the shoulders. Some minor rubbed leather to different parts of her body. Bisque arms are in a good condition as well.

Her clothes (except hat) might be original to this doll. Some stains and holes are present to her clothes. Comes with her original box - please see label Arabesque.
