Antique German 7 Kammer & Reinhardt / Simon & Halbig Bisque Doll in Chair

  

Markings: Back of head incised with the Star of David containing K&R, and "Simon & Halbig" (see photos). Material: bisque head and composition articulated body with painted and molded shoes and stockings. Face: Blue sleep eyes, open mouth with teeth, painted lashes and brows. Wig: Original mohair blonde wig and original pate. Clothing: Antique dress and undergarments.

This is a sweet example of a cabinet-size bisque doll that displays beautifully in her own antique decorated rocking chair.
