Antique China Head Doll High Brow Blonde Blue Eyes Original body 19 in German. Listed here is a 19 inch, German, China Head Shoulder Doll with High Brow Hair style with center part with original body from Civil War era, 1860's-1870's. Blonde and blue eyed Doll has an unrestored cotton body that shows age. Also need more stuffing especially in one arm. Doll has porcelain arms but no hands.

Porcelain legs and shoes are in good condition. I find no maker's mark. Doll has a lovely painted face with blush on her cheeks, closed mouth, painted brows and blue eyes. She has a faint smile and slightly upturned eyes. Doll was located when clearing family's home in attic. Little is known of her prior life.
