Antique Charming China Shoulder Head Doll 1850/1860's All Original Clothes

  

WONDERFULLY GARBED BLUE-EYED CHARMER WITH CURLS! 1850's or early 1860's.

A miniature of little girls of the era. All-original and beautifully patterned cotton dress with gathered at top - some fading at front, colors are brighter in between pleats and in back-- silk sash (shows some melting and fading from age) and the most adorable blue buttons original to the outfit.

Scallped pantalettes and underdress in great shape. Hair is beautifully molded, with SPARKLING BLUE EYES AND ROSY CHEEKS. Original fabric body is in great shape, china limbs (small black mark from original firing can be seen on right hand) and legs -- one leg is perfect, the other at some point was fixed and shows very well done repair and paint -- probably done a long time ago. Garters are blue, black boots. A GREAT piece for collectors or even for period fabric study.
