That being said, she really turned out wonderful and worth the time and effort. The inside of the head says 1936 in pencil which I think may or may not be the year of her making. She has been backlit and has no cracks, chips or hairlines. High color and cherry red lips are original.
She wears a strawberry blond human hair wig in braids. She really is quite wonderful. She has a one piece union suit and an organdy half slip. The navy cotton costume with eyelet trims is newer but so appropriate. The whimsical navy stripe socks and navy vinyl shoes are newer as well.
She is tightly strung, holds a pose, comes with nice large stand. This is a wonderful doll!
