20 K Star R Simon Halbig Early Unnumbered Bisque, Great Mariner Costume

  

Wonderful K Star R Simon Halbig, early with no number. Her bisque has no chips, cracks or hairlines. Her blue original sleep eyes function as they should.

She has black Swarovski glass earrings to match her costume. Her wig is a newer human hair strawberry blond in curls. It compliments all the darker colors in her costume. Her composition body is in very good condition with the exception of a replaced foot on the right leg. It's not perfect but a decent repair and the right size. A dog may chewed it off originally but this was the only body flaw. I love the golden color of the old composition. The 2 piece Mariner costume is very nicely done. The underdress is cotton on top and wool pleated skirting. The wool has a few tiny moth holes, really unnoticeable. Nice black silk ribbon along bottom. The pullover blouse is elasticized at the waist and sleeves. It features black lace and silk trim. The Mariner cap ties it all tigether.

The full slip has a few little flaws too but is sturdy. Shoes are new black but match well. Snugly strung, hold a pose, comes with stand. Wonderful K Star R doll from my collection.
