19th C. Kestner Bisque Doll 24 Tall K ½ Made in Germany 14 ½ 146 Composite body

  

Please read the description and look at the pictures closely to ascertain the condition of the doll. I will be glad to send, or post, more pictures if you desire. This is a bisque doll head with a composition body 24 tall with sleep eyes. Markings on the rear of the head are K ½ made in Germany 14 ½ 146. The doll has a light brown wig, brown eyes, four teeth, and painted brown brows.

There appears to be a hairline fracture visible on the back of the head through the markings (see photo). The ball joint composition body has a red stamp on the back Excelsior D. The body is solid, has all its fingers and toes, though there is some chipping of the big toe on the right foot.
