19 CIVIL WAR 1860s China Head Doll Center Part High Brow, Nicely Dressed

  

From the elles estate in Syracuse comes this well dressed 19 Civil War Era china head doll with center part hair. She is sewn into her dress but I can feel the entire shoulderplate.

I would say her body is a vintage replacement from the 1960s. It is hard stuffed with porcelain lower arms and legs. I especially like her blue boots. She is wearing antique bloomers, and petticoat. Her dress is wool I think and appropriate and definitely antique but not 1860s. There is a drip of something on her apron. She is ready to display.
