Jointed Vintage Porcelain Lady Doll in Magenta Artisan Dollhouse Miniature

  

What a marvelous artisan-made doll! Her face is quite charming, and is nicely painted. There is less detail in the painting than one often sees with porcelain dolls, but it works really well in this case.

She is a beautiful woman with crimped white-blonde hair and a vibrant magenta suit. I would guess from her clothes and hair that she is meant to fit the early 1900s to 1930s. Her gorgeous magenta suit is designed with a long jacket that is belted at the waist, and a long pencil skirt.

The jacket is trimmed with faux fur. She also wears a large muff (which is removable) that is also trimmed with the same fur. She comes with a satin hat that is very pretty, and is also trimmed with the same fur.

She comes with a doll stand. Her shoes are painted on.

Her head, neck and torso are made of porcelain. Her arms and legs are porcelain. There doesn't seem to be much wire in her structure, so even though her body is soft, she isn't really poseable, although her arms are jointed at the shoulder and her legs at the hip, so she can move them somewhat.

But her skirt is so tight her legs can't really move, and her jacket restricts her arms a little. Is a handcrafted Vintage piece. Because of its age, this item is not considered NEW. However, it has only been used in a display setting.

It is in excellent condition. Is a 1:12 (1 inch) scale miniature, unless otherwise stated in description. It is an adult collectible miniature, and is not meant for children under the age of 14.
