Thumb-Sucking Porcelain Baby Doll,'Melanie' designed by Parker-Levi. Dolls head, legs, and hands are porcelain and are attached to a soft, cloth body. This sweet babygirl is approximately 18 inches long and is weighted to feel similar to a real baby. Weight is approximately 4 lbs. She sits on a shelf beautifully.

She is in Pre-owned, vintage condition but is in great condition for her age! No noticeable damage or markings.

She's got brown eyes with beautiful eyelashes and a curly brown wig with two red ribbons (wig can be lifted slightly in back). Her skin tone is a beautiful brown tone with slight pink accents on her knees, feet, and on each cheek and her nails are a pale pink color &####128150. This beautiful girl is wearing an adorable vintage white dress covered in red hearts?? Both adorned with lace and ribbon &####127872. Dress has a hook and loop closure at the back.

She is also wearing white socks adorned with lace, and snap-closure white and pink shoes adorned with lace and pink bows. Her thumb is attached to the inside of her mouth with a thin elastic band, as shown in photos. The back of her head is marked " Melanie, Parker Levi" with a date underneath that is slightly harder to make out, but I believe is either 1988 or 1989. This doll does come from a dog friendly home, but I have not seen any evidence of this on her.

She has been in storage and has not been used in decades. Her condition is excellent considering her age. Please examine photos carefully for details and please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or if you'd like more photos.
