Numbered 255 out of a very limited edition of 360 pieces, Ms. Lawton's inspiration for this stunning sweetheart is the child's story. "A Day with Josephine" by Pamela Price with illustrations by Honor Appleton. This breathtaking doll features realistic hand-painted facial features and mouthblown blue glass eyes with cobalt flecks. Her shy smile and blushed cheeks radiate with the innocence of childhood, while her blonde bob haircut, composed of mohair, only adds to her innate charm!

Josephine dons an adorable plaid school dress with a coordinating cloche hat and hair bow. She also wears real leather Mary Janes, socks, and cotton undergarments. Her cardigan and other items from the additional companion suitcase are not included.

I have added a small teddy bear for Josephine to cuddle with on her way to you! She is incised "The Lawton Company" on her back, and hand-numbered #255/360 behind her left ear. NOTE: This Josephine is NOT from Lawton's 2005 The Library Collection, but the earlier, larger convention doll. Excellent, preowned condition with no cosmetic damage or wear to the bisque.
