Virginia Davis Orenyo Vintage Pair of Sibling Dolls Artisan Dollhouse Miniature

I was even more delighted to recently discover the artisan behind this set: Virginia Rae Davis Orenyo (The Virginia Atelier). Virginia made beautiful dolls, and was especially good at painting them to look like families. This delightful pair of siblings is so unique!

Their clothes are made so that they match, and their faces let you know they are related. Their costumes are perfect for mid 1800s to early 1900s. There are no maker's marks on the dolls, but I have been informed of their attribution by a wonderful customer who collected many of Virginia's works. Their shoes are painted on. To be clear, this listing is for the PAIR of dolls. 3¼" H x 2" W (single doll).

Is a handcrafted Vintage piece. Because of its age, this item is not considered new. It comes from the Princeton Toy and Doll Museum.

It is in excellent condition. Is a 1:12 (1 inch) scale miniature, unless otherwise stated in description.

It is an adult collectible miniature, and is not meant for children under the age of 14. The ruler in the photo is there to provide a reference point for scale. It is NOT meant to indicate any exact measurements! Due to angles& perspective, you should not assume that the measurement reflected in the photo is exact.
