Vintage MIJ 22 piece set doll size BLUE WILLOW dish set 1 chip in the EXTRA cup

  
It is transfer ware and Made in japan and there is a story about lovers that are changed to the two flying birds you se at the top of each piece (large or small). These are DOLL size dishes NOT dollhouse size. There is one flaw and that is a chip in one cup. That is the bad news, but the good news is there happens to be 5 cups and all the other important pieces are in fours so this does not have to be displayed, but you can turn cups around also. So that is an extra piece and there is also an odd sized saucer that is larger than the rest and I remember getting that at an antique store and thinking it was always good to have a spare, but turned out to be a different size, but perfect as "the cookie plate" for tea. FOUR saucers each 2 3/4 inches diameter FIVE cups each 1 1/4 inches tall, 1 3/4 inches diameter top and 1 inch diameter bottom ONE larger saucer aka the cookie plate 3 3/8 inches diameter FOUR round plates each 4 3/8 inches diameter ONE oval platter 6 5/8 inches by 3 7/8 inches TWO piece teapot and lid 3 1/4 inches tall and 1 1/4 inches diameter top and bottom TWO piece tureen and lid oval bottom is 2 3/8 inches x 1 5/8 inches and 3/8 inches tall not counting lid ONE creamer 1 3/4 tall and oval bottom is 1 1/8 x 7/8 inches TWO piece sugar bowl 1 3/4 inches tall not counting lid and oval base is 1 1/8 x 1 inches.
