Listed is a darling antique porcelain/china head doll, circa 1850-70s. The doll stands 8 and has a perfect shoulder plate head with a cloth body including leather hands and lower china legs/boots.

This doll is in excellent original condition. Her body is solid and clean and her leather hands & china legs may be newer. Her flat top center part hair style with side curls indicates her early Civil War vintage. She is wearing a spectacular brown velvet top/jacket with a brown silky satin skirt and matching bonnet. I believe the clothing to have been custom made for her, and not original to her era. The doll and her clothing are in perfect condition, showing no damage/wear and are immaculately clean.
