For sale is an Antique Bertha'Pet Name' Porcelain/China Head Doll manufactured by Hertwig in Germany. The doll has a Fabric Body and measures 21 inches long.

The doll has on her original velvet and satin dress which has some fading. There is a petticoat as well as pantaloons. Condition is very good, I find no damage to the body, porcelain arms, porcelain legs or head.

There is some light paint wear to her hair. The clothing is in good shape with some fading to the dress and yellowing to the cotton undergarments. The dolls chest is marked, "BERTHA, " there are also markings on the back between the shoulders but I could not make out the wording. There is an old inventory number on masking tape stuck to one of the legs.
