This listing is for an antique Half doll made by Dressel & Kister. A very beautiful and unique half doll that bears the Dressel & Kister mark.

This half doll is in excellent condition with NO chips, cracks or repairs. She comes from my private collection and has been kept in a curio cabinet in a smoke free environment. She is a medium size half doll and stands 3.5 inches. This is an exceptional and beautiful antique piece. References to her may be found on page 45 in The Collector's Encyclopedia of half dolls by Frieda Marion and Norma Werner.

She is a nude "arms away" style half doll. She is one of the few half dolls that were sculpted to depict a child or pre-adult character. She wears on her head a pink hat with a ribbon and bow. The details on this lovely antique piece are stunning right down to each tiny little finger. The hand painted facial features are done very well and she has such a sweet expression on her face.

She is marked by the maker on the exterior area of the base as well as a tiny mark inside the narrow base. Please view all the photos to see the details. The photos are provided as a large part of the description.
